People who've just come to the game since it became free, and don't know much about modding besides "here's this mods download ''''''manager'''''' that will do everything for you!" are gonna have a lot of issues if they download one of those "only install one version" mods and don't realize/don't know what to take out. I've been modding the game since sims 2, when you were constantly warned that if you didn't do everything JUST EXACTLY RIGHT, your game was gonna blow up and possibly your pc with it. There's also the issue of a lot of mods saying "only install one version!" but since curse just dumps every file in there right away, if I'm going on a spree, I'm not gonna remember that. The most you'll get is if the creator put it in it's own folder before zipping it, but most of them don't. My issue with using curseforge for sims (I already had it for minecraft) is: it just dumps mods into the Mods folder.
